If you have never been to Niagara Falls, you need to go. It is technically not one of the seven wonders of the world, but it should be. It is an amazing experience. This post provides a recap of our 2 days in Niagara and provides recommendations of things to see that could fill a week.

Vermont is known for its picturesque landscapes and charming small towns. Since we were doing our road trip in the beginning of Fall, our route had to go down the Vermont Route 100 Scenic Drive starting in Stowe and going south to Londonderry. Vermont fall foliage was just slightly past peak so a little disappointing compared to New Hampshire but still beautiful. The drive was about 100 miles with a number of interesting sights to see along the way—it was all about the food and scenery.

A full day of road-tripping through New Hampshire from Mt Washington and around the White Mountain Scenic Loop. Plenty of fall foliage, scenic mountain view, cute New England towns, and covered bridges.

Portland Maine is a beautiful coastal city with ocean views and New England charm. This is a one-day tour of the lighthouses within 2 hours of Portland. There are approximately 65 active lighthouses on the shores of Maine.

Boston, Massachusetts is a historic city known for its role in the American Revolution, but also for its significance in American culture and education.

Newport is a picturesque coastal town with rich New England architecture, historic mansions and gorgeous ocean views.

Mystic, Connecticut, is a charming seaside village located along the Mystic River in the southeastern part of the state. It is famous for its maritime heritage, historic charm, and quintessential New England atmosphere.

Jim Thorpe is a quaint little town in the Pocono Mountains with charming Victorian buildings, cute little shops and restaurants, and scenic surroundings.
